“I was delighted when Mrs Acres invited me to become writer in residence at St Bernadette’s. Having worked with all the staff and pupils over the last few years, I knew that I was agreeing to a fun and meaningful collaboration. It’s not only pupils and professionals working in educational settings that need and value stimulus and a chance to try out new ideas – but writers too. I’m very much looking forward to where this journey takes all of us – especially now – when the empathy and understanding that Story can facilitate in all of us is so needed.”

Adam Guillain is a best-selling children’s writer, storyteller and teacher trainer. His first novel Bella Balistica and The Temple of Tikal was published in 2001 and since then he has written or co-written close to 250 books. He is co-founder of Storytelling Schools and Snazzy Badgers Music.
