Absence Procedures
If your child is absent from school please telephone the school each day your child is absent giving the reason for absence by 8.45am
If we do not have contact from the parent or carer then a call is made to all contacts we have for the child concerned in order to be able to communicate with the parent or carer.
In the event that we cannot make contact with the parent or carer then a home visit will be made. If we still cannot locate the whereabouts of the child who is absent then we will call the Police.
REMEMBER:
- Ensure that if your child is absent you call the school by 8.45am
- It is imperative that we have at least three nominated contacts for each child.
- It is parents responsibility to ensure we have up to date contact details and that school are able to make contact with registered contacts.
