Year 3

In Year 3, we develop a love of stories through a rich variety of texts and discover the joy of writing for a purpose, for example by creating persuasive letters to supermarkets about plastic pollution.

In RE, we deepen our understanding of the Bible and the Mass through creative experiences such as art, storytelling and role play. Our History learning takes us on a journey from the Stone Age to the Romans, enriched by a trip to Roman Verulamium. In Geography, we explore the wonders of London, enjoying a sightseeing walk around our beautiful capital.

We also learn about the importance of staying healthy by sampling different nutritious snacks before designing and making our own.
