Appeals Process
If it has not been possible to offer your child a place at our school, you have the right, by law, to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
The deadline for submitting Reception 2026/27 appeals documentation is 15th May 2026.
Parents have 20 school days from the date of notification that their application was unsuccessful to lodge a written appeal and 10 school days' notice will be given of the appeal hearing. Appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the submission of the appeal (30 school days in the case of late or in-year applications)
In-Year Appeals can be submitted once in any academic year.
We will ensure that decision letters are sent within 5 school days of the hearing, wherever possible.
