At St Bernadette School we are proud to promote healthy and active travel choices within our school community. Through our learning and participation in activities such as Walk to School Week, we have explored the many benefits of active travel, including improving sustainability, developing road safety awareness, encouraging social interaction, and supporting a healthy mind and body.

Thanks to the commitment of our pupils and families, we have successfully increased the number of children travelling to school actively. This campaign, alongside vital road safety activities such as pedestrian safety training, has helped our school achieve Gold Accreditation with Travel for Life.

Together, we can make healthy choices, safer journeys, and a greener future for everyone!
