Home - School Partnership in Faith
At our Catholic school, faith is at the heart of everything we do. It is taught, nurtured, celebrated, and lived out each day through our words and actions. Together, we support the growth and development of every child, guided by love of God and love of one another.
United by this shared faith, our children, staff, parents, governors, and wider school community work in partnership to promote kindness, respect, tolerance, and justice. We value every individual as unique, with their own gifts, talents, and needs, and we encourage each person to flourish within a caring and supportive environment.
As a school community, we strive to live out the Gospel message, grow together in faith, and strengthen our sense of belonging within the Church.
We know that children thrive when schools and families work closely together in a positive partnership, always with the best interests of the child at heart.
Faith Formation
Parents and school work hand in hand to nurture the faith and spirituality of our pupils. This partnership is supported through regular communication, including newsletters and social media updates, helping families stay connected to the life and faith journey of the school.
The Wednesday Word
Each Wednesday, families receive The Wednesday Word — a wonderful resource designed to encourage special moments of faith and reflection at home.
Built around Gospel values, this family-friendly leaflet helps strengthen relationships, deepen faith, and create moments of togetherness throughout your child’s school journey. Informative, engaging, and inclusive, it supports families in keeping faith at the centre of everyday life
Parent Prayer Group evEry Friday AT 8.45am
Our Parent Prayer Group offers a welcoming opportunity for parents and carers to come together in faith, friendship, and prayer. Through these gatherings, parents are able to share quiet moments of reflection, pray for our children and school community, and support one another on their faith journey.
The group helps to strengthen the special sense of belonging within our school family, creating meaningful connections between home, school, and parish. Whether attending regularly or joining when able, all parents are warmly invited and encouraged to take part.
Celebrating Faith Together
Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for school Masses, special class liturgies, and whole-school celebrations throughout the year. These occasions are an important part of our school life and provide opportunities for our community to come together in prayer, reflection, and celebration.
Our liturgies and Masses follow the liturgical calendar and help children to deepen their understanding of the seasons and celebrations of the Catholic faith. By sharing these special moments with families, we strengthen the partnership between home, school, and parish, and nurture a strong sense of community and belonging.
We greatly value the support and presence of parents at these celebrations, as together we help our children grow in faith and live out the Gospel values in their daily lives.
