Trip to Oak Farm Library

On Friday 11th October, Year Five visited Oak Farm library to do some research about our Solar System. We used a variety of different books, as well as Britannica Online, to research facts about specific planets.  We then used our research to create an information text linked to our Science topic on ‘Earth, Sun and Moon.’

Our Retreat to SPEC

Over two weeks in the Spring term both year 5 classes had the opportunity to go on retreat to SPEC in Pinner. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to grow closer to God and to each other. Through prayer, teamwork activities, camp fires, a talent competition and much, much more the children discovered a little more about themselves and each other as the focus was being a family - it was immensely rewarding to see the children so engaged and having fun!
